Surveillance investigations document activities or associations of individuals as they occur. The purpose of surveillance is to document the truth. Using the latest High Tech professional surveillance equipment, our investigators provide support to document a variety of activities as they pertain to workers compensation cases, automobile injury personal cases, domestic disputes and child custody issues.
All surveillance is documented with photographs and/or videotape, and any other legally obtained information will be given to you at your request or your attorney with regards to privacy laws.
Upon the investigators arrival at surveillance point the investigator will take an establishing shot (Time and Date Stamped) of 3-5 seconds or more depending on the investigators observations. The investigator will record any vehicles at the location including their tags if possible. These tags will be searched through Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicles to find out who the vehicle is registered to.
If there is no activity the investigator will take additional shots on the hour of the area. Our minimum surveillance time including drive time is 2 hours. The investigator will take an ending shot before departing the area. After returning to the office the investigator downloads the video from the cameras hard drive. The Original DVD is kept on file at our office. The investigator types his/her report including times, locations and observations. The investigator may check on the registered owner of the vehicle for any criminal warrants, driving record, sex offender registry, or any other reasonable search that may pertain to your case.
One important point: Never threaten to hire an investigator! This will make the suspected subject even more difficult to watch. If you have done this, be sure to tell us ahead of time so we can prepare.
